relish它強(qiáng)調(diào)的是"get pleasure"或者"want very much to do …" ,有“享受”、“喜歡”之意,和enjoy特別相近,用法上也是一樣的,enjoy / relish + n. / v.-ing / pron.
relish
vt. 品嘗,品味;給…加佐料,調(diào)味;欣賞
vi. 有滋味;有…的味道
n. 味道,滋味;調(diào)味品;引起興趣的東西
e.g.But they say they can go only so far , so fast without compromising tastes consumers have come to relish or salt 's ability to preserve food .
但他們說在不對(duì)消費(fèi)者喜歡的味道或鹽保存食物的功能上作出讓步的情況下,他們只能做到這一步,做得這么快。
enjoy的用法
?、賢o get pleasure from sth. 享受……的樂趣;欣賞;喜愛
這個(gè)意思和relish沒差別了,可以互換。

enjoy oneself這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu),我翻了很多例句,并沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)relish oneself的用法。
另外,enjoy的第三和第四個(gè)意思也是relish所沒有的。
?、踇formal] to have sth. good that is an advantage to you 享有;享受
e.g. He's always enjoyed good health
?、躘informal] used to say that you hope sb. gets pleasure sth. that you are giving them or recommending to them
e.g. Here's the book that I promised you, enjoy it!
In general, 兩者的差別可能就在于只有當(dāng)enjoy取第①個(gè)意思時(shí)才是可替代的,其他情況下,enjoy的意義是不能被relish替代的。
